Come Rain or Shine

‘Come Rain or Shine’ or “Shine” is a Maryland-bred son of Kentucky Derby-winner Nyquist. ‘Shine’ came to us last fall after a successful turf career, earning over $100k and finishing in the money in 7 of his 10 starts. He retired sound but after a minor bleed despite lasix in his last start, his connections recognized his potential beyond the track and sent him our way. He is still growing into his tall, athletic frame and has been lightly restarted this spring. He is currently hacking out and learning where to put all his parts in the ring. He’s very athletic and still figuring out he’s not a racehorse. At this stage he wouldn’t be an amateur ride, but has the movement and ability to make a great partner for a professional! RRP Eligible!
